1. The service

Matcha Filter Remover is an AI-powered tool that removes the "matcha" color filter from photos you upload. Results are AI-enhanced approximations — not guaranteed reproductions of the photo before the filter was applied.

2. Your images, your responsibility

You represent and warrant that you own the images you upload or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions (including copyright and likeness/publicity rights) to upload and process them. If you break this promise, we may refuse service.

3. What you may not upload

You may not upload or process: sexually explicit or pornographic content; content that infringes anyone's copyright, likeness, publicity, or privacy rights; child sexual abuse material (zero tolerance — we report it); illegal content; or content intended for face-swap, deepfake, or face-manipulation purposes.

4. What you may not do

Don't scrape or batch-process other people's content from other platforms in violation of their rights; don't paste third-party platform URLs to pull images; don't reverse-engineer or abuse our API; and don't try to bypass rate limits or usage counting.

5. Age

You must be at least 13 to use this service. If you're 13–17, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

6. AI results

Results are approximations produced by AI. We make no warranty about their accuracy. Don't use results as evidence or for legal purposes.

7. Provided as is; limit of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $100 if you've never paid).

8. Trademarks

Matcha Filter Remover is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, ByteDance, or any social media platform. It is an independent product built on third-party AI models and is not affiliated with the model creators. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

9. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content processed by our service infringes your copyright, email dmca@matchafilterremover.app with the information required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3): your physical or electronic signature; identification of the copyrighted work; identification of the infringing material and where it appeared; your contact information; a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you're authorized to act for the rights holder.

10. Free tier fair use

The free tier is limited per visitor (counted via a privacy-preserving fingerprint-and-IP hash — see our Privacy Policy). We may rate-limit, reduce, or suspend free access to stop abuse.

11. Paid terms (effective when payments launch)

Credits are valid for 90 days from purchase. Consumed credits are non-refundable; unused credits are refundable. If a processing job fails, the credit is automatically returned. Subscriptions are offered monthly and yearly, renew automatically with clear advance disclosure, and can be canceled anytime through the Creem customer portal from your account page. Payments are processed by Creem as Merchant of Record; Creem appears on your billing statement.

12. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; continued use means acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

13. Governing law
